OMHA Championship Bound
The U14 Nomads punch their ticket to the OMHA Championship Weekend for the first time in the teams' history.

Heading into the semi-final game against the Clarington Toros the Hawks knew that they would proceed to the OMHA Championship Weekend. However, they had their sights set on winning the Lakeshore Championship which would have them as 1st seed for the OMHA weekend.  The Clarington Toros have been a tough match for the Hawks this season, but Saturday was redemption day for the Hawks and they trounced the Toros 6 -3.

Riley Kavanagh would open the scoring for the Hawks with a pass from Malcolm Brooks in front of the net, which was assisted by Antonio Popiel.  Elijah MacDonald would add one to the tally from Kavanagh.  Clarington would answer back with two quick goals to end the first period.  In the second the Nomads would gain momentum with Keegan Goulah and Cam Slone both finding the back of the net.  Cohen Heales would add two goals in the third to widen the gap and keep the Toros down.  Additional assists from Kavanagh, Slone (2) and Heales (2).  Owen Curran was steady between the pipes earning the win to declare the U14's the Lakeshore Champions.
