U10 Golden Hawks Bring Home GOLD!
The U10A Quinte West Golden Hawks travelled to Niagara Falls this weekend to attend the Peter Mancuso November Challenge Tournament. 

The Hawks played hard in their first game of the tournament on Friday, coming out with a 5-1 win. Goals were scored by Kohen Couperus(2), Griffin Van Gemeren, Noah Carre- Stewart and Ben Villeneuve. Preston Martin took the win in net!

Later that day they went on to take a 6-1 win in their second game of the tournament, sporting their brand new away jerseys! Goals scored by Ben Villeneuve, Griffin Van Gemeren(2), Roy Finch, Alex Dolton and Josh Korver. Bryce Lawrence took the win in net!


The Hawks' two wins put them in an overall tie position on Friday at the end of the day. The coaches were called to represent the team in a tie breaker coin toss! The Hawks came out on top, placing as first seed in the tournament. 


On Saturday they played a suspenseful afternoon game, ending with a 4-2 win putting them into the semi finals on Sunday morning. Goals scored by Alex Dolton, Noah Carre-Stewart(2) and Griffin Van Gemeren. Preston Martin took the win, protecting the team between the pipes!


Semi Final Game on Sunday morning was intense, both teams wanted the win but the Hawks came out on top with a 3-2 victory, advancing them to the finals. Goals scored by Ben Villeneuve and Josh Korver(2). Bryce Lawrence defended the net for the victory! 


The Hawks played their hearts out in the final game, coming out with a 3-2 Victory and taking home the GOLD! Goals were scored by Kohen Couperus, Griffin Van Gemeren and Noah Carre- Stewart. Preston Martin played amazing in net for the win!

The U10 Hawks are finally playing on home ice this weekend with their home opener against Whitby on Saturday at 2pm in Trenton.
