Quinte West U10A Golden Hawks remain undefeated as they bring home a tie and win this weekend.
On Saturday the Hawks played a nail biting home game versus Peterborough Petes, ending in a 3-3 tie.
Goals for the Hawks were scored by Ben Villeneuve, Noah Carre-Stewart and Roy Finch. Assists went to Kohen Couperus (3) and Nikolai Caron. Playing net versus Peterborough was Preston Martin.
On Sunday the Hawks took a road trip to Clarington where they came out on top with a 7-3 win. Goals were scored by Griffin Van Gemeren(2), Ben Villeneuve(2), Josh Korver, Brody Bucholtz and Nikolai Caron. Assists went to Kohen Couperus(2), Roy Finch, Ben Villeneuve, Josh Korver, Karson Hamilton and Griffin Van Gemeren. Playing net versus Clarington was Bryce Lawrence.
The Golden Hawks will take a much needed break this week before they gear up to play Kingston this Sunday February 27, on home ice, for their last regular season game.
