U10A Hawks Still on Fire!
The U10A Quinte West Golden Hawks played 3 games in the last 4 days bringing home 5 points, with 2 wins and a tie.

The Hawks first game of the weekend was on home ice versus Clarington Toros, ending with a 11-0 win. 

Karson Hamilton banked himself 5 goals, sporting a new number for the game. Other goals were scored by Kohen Couperus(2), Josh Korver (2), Griffin Van Gemeren and Roy Finch. Assists went to Griffin Van Gemeren, Tye McMurter, Noah Trice, Noah Carre- Stewart, Levi Mallory, Nikolai Caron, Alex Dolton, Roy Finch, and Ben Villeneuve. Bryce Lawrence took home a shutout in net.


Sunday was a travel day for the Hawks, where they took on the Kingston Canadians. Both teams were there to win and fought hard to take it home. The game ended in a 4-4 tie. 

Goals were scored by Josh Korver (2) both unassisted, Griffin Van Gemeren assisted by Brody Bucholtz and Tye McMurter assisted by Brody Bucholtz. Playing net versus Kingston was Bryce Lawrence.


Tuesday evening had the Hawks traveling back to Kingston for another hard fought game, this time bringing home a 6-1 win. 

Goals were scored by Kohen Couperus, Karson Hamilton, Griffin Van Gemeren, Alex Dolton, Tye McMurter and Josh Korver. Assists went to Griffin Van Gemeren, Ben Villeneuve, Tye McMurter, Noah Carre-Stewart, Kohen Couperus, Nikolai Caron, Roy Finch, Josh Korver, Levi Mallory, Karson Hamilton and Alex Dolton. 

Bryce Lawrence held the team together in net, only letting one goal sneak past him. 


The U10A Hawks are set to play back to back this weekend with a home ice game on Saturday versus Peterborough. Sunday they will travel to Clarington.
