The Image Landscaping Quinte West U15A Golden Hawks were on the road, visiting the North Durham Warriors on Saturday, December 04th.

In the 1st period, Cole Baird opened the scoring with a one-timer, off a sweet pass from Jacob Brummell. A few minutes later, Jack Andrews knocked in a rebound, assisted by Charlie Mooney; putting the Hawks up 2-0 after the 1st period.

Brody Pilatzke buried the lone goal in the 2nd period, assisted by Charlie Mooney and Jack Andrews.

Charlie Mooney notched a beauty in the 3rd period, assisted by Jack Andrews and Colby Coe. With under 10 seconds left in the game, while being short handed, Brock Davy went coast to coast and roofed a sick goal (unassisted), ending the game 5-0 for the Golden Hawks.

Carson Down was in net for the Golden Hawks, coming away with the big shut-out win.

After the game, star defenceman and Captain of the team, Brock Davy described how he got the late game goal. Davy said, “I looked up at the clock, and I saw that there was only 8 seconds left in the game. So I skated as hard as I could, and roofed it!”

The win extended the U15A Golden Hawks unbeaten streak to 10-0-0 on the regular season.
