The Quinte West Image Landscape Minor Peewee A Hawks have continued to steamroll into October! The Hawks faced rival Peterborough in a weeknight matchup on Wednesday and came out to a quick and relentless first period. Goals by Avery Wease, Owen Ferguson, and Colby Coe lead them to a 3-0 cushion. The Petes gained some momentum leading into the third period however, and kept things close with 2 goals of their own. Our Hawks hung on and pulled out the 3-2 victory.Our Sunday matchup proved to show that we are really coming together as a team! This affair was highlighted by excessive penalties to an aggressive Hawks squad, who at one point had 4 players in the box. We rallied and dominated the Whitby Blue team in the end with a pair of goals each by Sunny Fanjoy and Wease, and singles netted by Jack Andrews, and Charlie Mooney. Final score 6-2.The Quinte West Image Landscaping Minor Peewee A Hawks have started the season with 5 straight wins in regular season action.
