Minor Atom A, 2018-2019 (Quinte West Minor Hockey Association)

The Minor Atom Nomad Hawks win the Lakeshore finals in their games against the North Durham Warriors.  After dropping game one in the series the Hawks came back to win three straight to clinch the Lakeshore title.  North Durham, the number one team in this division have been the team that the Hawks could not beat. But that changed this series and the Hawks ended up coming out on top after game 4.

The Minor Atom Nomads put forth an incredible effort in the International Silver Stick Finals tournament, where qualifying teams come to compete from United States and Canada. 

The Minor Atom Nomad Hawks were crowned champions in the Northumberland Silver Stick regional tournament this past weekend. 

After some very impressive weekend hockey the Minor Atom Nomads walk away champions in their division at the Ajax Break the Ice tournament.  The team would have a 5-1-0 record in the tournament with a total of 27 goals for and 11 against. Thursday night saw the team facing off against Whitby.  Cam Slone opened up the scoring and landed 2 in the net before they were a minute into the game.  Slone would end up with a hat trick and Joey Nieman would add one to the score board in the teams 4 to 2 victory.
