Minor Atom Hawks Clinch Lakeshore Title
The Minor Atom Nomad Hawks win the Lakeshore finals in their games against the North Durham Warriors.  After dropping game one in the series the Hawks came back to win three straight to clinch the Lakeshore title.  North Durham, the number one team in this division have been the team that the Hawks could not beat. But that changed this series and the Hawks ended up coming out on top after game 4.

After the game two win it would seem that the Hawks would gain confidence and come out determined to take game three.  They downed the Warriors 6 to 3.  Brad Senior would open the scoring with a pass from Joey Nieman.  Nieman and Malcolm Brooks would later add 2 goals apiece.  Hunter Bradbury would add a single to the tally.  Assists from Bradbury(2), Rhys Lawrence, Doug Robinson (2), Sullivan Tait, Malachi Hoornweg and Brooks.  Owen Curran earned the win between the pipes.

Sunday action had the Hawks playing in front of their biggest fans.  North Durham would get and early goal but Bradbury would tie the game up from a tape to tape pass from Brooks.  Bradbury would return the pass later in the game to have Brooks score.  Cam Slone would add two goals and Kale Tawse would add the final goal giving the Hawks the 5 to 1 win.  Assists from Brooks, Bradbury (2), Tawse and Hayden Parent.  Mason Taylor was stellar in net throughout the game.

The last and final game for the team will take place at the York Simcoe challenge in April.  The team would like to thank their team sponsor, the Nomads for their continued support.
