Avengers, 2015-2016, U9HL (Quinte West Minor Hockey Association)

Ok, lets start off by saying things didn't exactly start out on the best note Saturday morning. The QW schedule indicated the Avengers were playing the Picton Prinzen Ford team in Picton. Wrong !!  The game was actually at Wellington Arena 20 mins away from Picton arena. After scrambling the team, navigating through Wellingtons Santa Clause parade the Avengers arrived in Wellington at 10:00 am for their 10:00 am game. The Quinte West Avengers Novice team went to Stirling to play the Stirling Blues on their home ice. I think it is fair to say, this was the coldest arena the team has ever played in and on a Olympic size ice surface that makes the Avengers rink seem tiny in comparison.

It appears the Avengers like to keep the fans on the edge of their seats. Once again the fans, coaches and the players at the bench were having heart palpitations watching the action on the ice. A nail biter does not do justice to the action and excitement generated at the Avengers games. The Avengers are one great team that have great heart, play with respect and passion and clearly have passion for everything hockey.

Another nail biter, The QW Avengers played PEC Long Reach Towels in Wellington and it was another incredible game. Once again the Avengers Goalie Sean-Ryan had a great game as did the PEC Long Reach Towels Goalie. 

The Avengers played the QW Black Hawks on Halloween day, the game was action packed.
