Hawks Open Lakeshore League Final With Two Wins
The Klemencic Homes Atom Hawks opened the Lakeshore League Finals with two convincing wins over the Whitby Wildcats (White).

On Saturday at home the Hawks started slow but gained momentum scoring four goals in the second period on their way to a 6-1 victory in game one. Scoring for the home side were Jack Lowry(2), Eamonn Deery, Michael Dolton, Geoffrey Boates and Keenan Wiles. Assists went to Wiles(2), Dolton, Ryan Kirk, Ben Davy and Boates. Seamus Killeen was solid in net picking up the win.

On Sunday the Hawks travelled to Whitby and took a stranglehold on the series by pounding the Wildcats 9-1. Lowry led the offence with 3 goals and 3 assists. Other markers went to Deery(2), Ryan Kirk, Jakob Gardner, Shane Jerrett and Daniel McLeod. Picking up the other assists were Justin Bolduc(2), McLeod, Davy, Tyvian Koets, Dolton, Wiles, Gardner, Deery and Boates. Logan Vale got the win between the pipes.

The Hawks will look to claim their third consecutive Lakeshore League title on Saturday when the host Whitby at 5:30pm in Trenton.
