Hawks Split Weekend Games
The Klemencic Homes Atom Hawks split a pair of games this weekend.
On Saturday the Hawks played host to the Oshawa Generals and came away with a 5-1 victory. Scoring for the home side were Michael Dolton, Shane Jerrett, Jack Lowry, Daniel McLeod and Eamonn Deery. Picking up assists were Geoffrey Boates(2), Mac Slone, Justin Bolduc and Keenan Wiles. Logan Vale got the win in net.
On Sunday the Hawks travelled to Whitby to take on the Blue Wildcats and were beaten by a 3-2 score. Despite a late comeback attempt with the goalie pulled they came up just short losing 3-2. Goals came from Bolduc and Deery while assists went to Slone, Jakob Gardner and Lowry.
The Hawks get a break for the Christmas holiday before they head to Ottawa to take part in the Bell Capital Cup Tournament December 30- January 1.
