Bantam A, 2019-2020 (Quinte West Minor Hockey Association)

On Friday February 7th, the Madison Excavating Bantam A Hawks were able to sweep the North Durham Warriors at the Duncan Memorial Arena. This was game three of the second round of the OMHA playdown series.

The Madison Excavating Bantam A Hawks had a great start to their second round of the OMHA playdowns. The Hawks faced the North Durham Warriors on Saturday and Sunday where they notched two wins.

On January 8th, the Madison Excavating Bantam A Hawks had a special guest arrive at their weekly practice. Sandra Hussey, a Sales Representative from EXIT Realty Group stopped by to show her support for the Hawks as they prepare for the Bantam A OHF Championship that Quinte West Minor Hockey will host in April of this year. The Madison Excavating Bantam A Hawks returned to ice this past Sunday to finish off their regular season in the Lakeshore Hockey league. The Hawks finished the season in first place with a 23-0-4 record.

The Madison Excavating Bantam A Hawks had a successful weekend when facing the North Durham Warriors and the Pickering Panthers. Saturday’s game against the Warriors looked a little different than last week. The Hawks were on their game, they kept the pressure on, their passes were solid as the Hawks found the scoreboard every period. Vince Bellavance started the scoring off helped out by Layne Cocek and Will Potts. Owen Bell found an opening in the net to make the score 2-0 helped by Potts and Jakob Gardner.
