Hawks finish the season undefeated!
Submitted By Kristen on Sunday, January 5, 2020
The Madison Excavating Bantam A Hawks returned to ice this past Sunday to finish off their regular season in the Lakeshore Hockey league. The Hawks finished the season in first place with a 23-0-4 record.

The Peterborough Petes traveled to our home rink to play us one last time in the regular season. The Hawks found the scoreboard first with Noah Ferguson finding the mesh assisted by Owen Bell and Justin Bolduc. Vince Bellavance scored next, after receiving a pass from Will Potts to seal the lead in the first period. During the second period Michael Dolton had the lone goal of the period helped by Jakob Gardner. As the final period was upon us, the Petes found the scoreboard twice and Tyvian Koets added an unassisted goal to make the final score 4-2. Eric McKeown between the pipes with the win.

The Hawks will face the Pickering Panthers during the first series of the Lakeshore Ontario Minor Hockey Association Playdowns. At this time the series has yet to be scheduled.
