Hawks Take Commanding Series Lead
The World Elite Training Minor Peewee Hawks took a five points to one OMHA quarter final series lead with a 4-2 win over the Clarington Toros at home on Tuesday night.
The Hawks went up 4-0 in the second period and cruised to the victory. Gavin Armstrong led the offence with two goals while singles went to Brendan Reid and Sterling Poff. Assists went to Connor Boates(3), Eli Kenney(2), Connor Kokonas and Tyson Gregory. Nowl Wallace had another strong game in net and picked up the win.
The Hawks will look to wrap up the series Saturday in Clarington. If necessary game 5 will be played in Trenton on Sunday at 3:15pm.
