Hawks Get Back On Track
The World Elite Training Minor Peewee Hawks got back on track with two big wins this weekend.

On Saturday the Hawks played host to the Pickering Panthers and despite running into a hot goaltender they were able to come way with a 4-1 win. Connor Boates led the offence with 2 goals and an assists while Brendan Reid and Aiden Haker supplied the other goals. Other assists went to Reid, Noah Marsh, Gavin Armstrong and Tyson Gregory. Noah Wallace picked up the win in net.

On Sunday the Hawks faced off against a determined Clarington Toros team and despite falling behind twice in the game they persevered and came away with a 3-2 victory. Sterling Poff got the offence started, Connor Kokonas scored on a point shot to tie the game at 2 and Reid potted the game winner with under a minute to go. Cael Hussey added the lone assist. Noah Groeneveld was solid between the pipes to get the win.

The Hawks have a light week this week as their only game is a match-up against the Ajax Knights on Sunday at 6:30pm in Frankford.
