Novice Hawks Win One Of Two
The Rhino Hockey Training Novice A Hawks split their two games this weekend. 

On Saturday the Hawks travelled to Port Perry and after battling back from a 5-2 deficit they came up short losing 7-4. Owen Vis led the offence with two goals with Quinton Bogart and Noah lesser picking up singles. Assists went to Connor Boates, Tyson Gregory and Colby Jones.

On Sunday the Hawks played host to the Whitby Wildcats (White). The game was a tight checking affair with the teams tied 0-0 heading to the third period. The Hawks scored two early goals in the period and skated away with a 3-1 victory. Lesser scored two goals and Evan Beamish had the other. Gregory and Boates each chipped in with a single assist. Reese Deline was solid in net picking up the win.

This coming weekend will be a light one for the Hawks as they travel to Whitby to take on the Wildcats (Blue) on Saturday in their lone game.
