Novice Hawks Tie Two
The Rhino Hockey Training Novice A Hawks tied two games this past weekend.
On Saturday the Hawks travelled to Oshawa and came away with a 4-4 tie in a back and forth affair. Scoring for the Hawks were Jakob Harnest, Colby Jones, Connor Boates and Colby Weirsma. Picking up assists were Weirsma(2), Tyson Gregory and Owen Vis. Reese Deline was between the pipes.
On Sunday the Hawks were on the road once again, this time in Whitby. After falling behind 2-0 in the second period they rallied to tie the game and then had to come from behind once more in the third before settling for a 3-3 tie. Vis, Pearson MacDonald and Noah Lesser scored for the Hawks with assists going to Vis, Jones and MacDonald. Deline once again was solid in net.
The next action for the Hawks will be this coming weekend when they travel to Port Perry on Saturday for a date with the Predators before hosting the Whitby Wildcats (White) Sunday.
