Hawks Rebound With Two Wins
The Klemencic Homes Atom Hawks rebounded with two wins this weekend after dropping their opening game of the Lakeshore League Semi-Final round robin series.
On Friday night the Hawks shut-out the Pickering Panthers 3-0. Scoring for the Hawks were Michael Dolton, Eamonn Deery and Keenan Wiles while assists wen tot Mac Slone(2) and Ryan Kirk. Logan Vale picked up the shut-out between the pipes.
On Sunday the Hawks travelled to Lindsay looking to avenge their loss the previous weekend and did just that, coming away with a 4-1 win. Daniel McLeod led the Hawks with two goals while others went to Justin Bolduc and Dolton. Dolton, Deery and Slone added assists. Seamus Killeen got the win in net.
The Hawks travel to Pickering on Monday night and will advance to the Lakeshore League final with a win or a tie. The Whitby Wildcats (White) await the winner of this series.
