Hawks Pick up 3 of 4 Points
The Klemencic Homes Atom Hawks picked up a win and a tie on the weekend.
On Saturday the Hawks played host to the Clarington Toros and came away with a 10-3 victory. Scoring for the home side were Justin Bolduc(3), Geoffrey Boates(2), Michael Dolton(2), Eamonn Deery, Shane Jerrett and Jakob Gardner. Picking up assists were Jack Lowry(4), Ryan Kirk(2), Daniel McLeod(3), Jerrett, Deery(2),Bolduc, Keenan Wiles and Dolton. Logan Vale Picked up the win in net.
On Sunday the Hawks played host to the first place Uxbridge Stars and were trying to avenge their only loss of the season. In what was a very tight game the Hawks never gave up after trailing on two separate occasions they battle back and the teams ended up tied at 2 when the final buzzer sounded. Lowry and Dolton scored each picked up a goal. Seamus Killeen was solid in net and gave the team a chance to win.
The Hawks play two games this coming weekend. They host the Oshawa Generals on Saturday before travelling to Whitby to take on the third place Wildcats (Blue) on Sunday.
