The U15 Nomad Quinte West Golden Hawks end the weekend earning 3
points and with a 7-2-2 record
On Saturday, the game would see the Hawks facing the top
place Whitby Blue team. Hawks would walk
away with a 3-3 tie. Scoring for the
Golden Hawks would be Joey Nieman, Keegan Goulah and Daniel McNeill. Assists from McNeill and Rhys Lawrence. The Hawks lead the game until the third
period where Whitby would turn up the heat on our goalie Owen Curran. Curran made several keys saves but Whitby was
able to tie it up late in the third.
At the Dunc on Sunday the Nomads dominated the game versus the Whitby
White team.
Chloe Reid earned her first shutout as a Hawk as the team downed the
Wildcats 7 to 0. Joey Nieman and Keegan
Goulah would both land 2 goals followed by Daniel McNeill, Cohen Heales and
Sullivan Tait. Assists from McNeill (2),
Doug Robinson, Cam Slone, Heales (2), Kale Tawse and Elijah McDonald.
The U15 team have one lone game this weekend as they travel
to take on the Ajax/Pickering Raiders on Friday.
