Hawks Update for Nov. 18 - 24
This past week, the Hawks took to
the road to face the Peterborough Petes. Despite finding the net early, the
Pete’s were unable to maintain the lead as the Hawks quickly fought back and
found the mesh. The Pete’s fell short to the Hawks 6-2. Goals scored by Owen
Bell (3), Noah Ferguson (2) and Nathan Shuttleworth (1). Seamus Killeen between
the pipes for the win.
On Sunday, the Hawks hosted the Whitby Wildcats Blue at their home rink. Whitby found the scoreboard quickly in the first to take the lead and kept the score at 1-0 for the remainder of the period. Shane Jerrett evened it up in the second with a strong shot from the point. Whitby found the mesh again to take the lead. Tyvian Koets tied it up with four minutes left in the game. Seamus Killeen with the tie in net.
The Hawks are back on the road Saturday November 30th visiting the Clarington Toros and will return home on Sunday December 1 to host North Durham Warriors.
