Hawks Sweep the Toros
The Madison Excavating Minor Bantam A Hawks have swept the Clarington Toros and are off to the next round of OMHA playdowns.
On Friday February 1st, the Hawks hosted the Toros for a Friday night do or die match up. The scoring started off with a shorthanded goal by the Toros. The Hawks came back strong and ended the first period with 2 on the board by Layne Cocek assisted by Jakob Gardner and Vince Bellavance assisted by Tyvian Koets. The second period remained scoreless. To finish the game, the Hawks found some fire and popped two more in the net scored by Ryan Kirk and Bellavance assisted by Kirk and Nathan Shuttleworth. This made the final 4-1 Hawks. Seamus Killeen between the pipes for the win.
