Hawks Split First 2 Games With Generals
The Rhino Hockey Training Minor Atom Hawks split the first two games of their Lakeshore League playoff series with the Oshawa Generals.

On Saturday the Hawks opened the series with a 2-1 win over the Generals. After a scoreless first period the Hawks scored two in the second and held on for the win despite a late charge by the Generals who scored late to make it close. Tyson Gregory and Pearson MacDonald scored for the home side while Phoebe Mooney picked up the lone assist. Cooper Martin was solid in net picking up the win.

On Sunday the Hawks traveled to Oshawa and the teams played another close game. Quinte West could not get any offence on this day though and fell 2-0 to the Generals.

The series continues Tuesday night in Frankford and game four will be in Oshawa on Friday. If game five is required it will take place in Trenton on Sunday.
