Hawks Win One of Two
The Rhino Hockey Training Novice A Hawks picked split their weekend games with a win and a loss.
On Saturday the Hawks put a complete effort together and defeated the Kingston Canadiens 5-1. Scoring for the Hawks were Colby Wiersma(2), Connor Boates, Tyson Gregory and Noah Lesser. Picking up assists were Gregory(2), Lesser, Aiden Haker, Matt Hicks, Colby Jones, Seth Scaletta and Quinton Bogart. Reese Deline was solid in net picking up the win.
On Sunday the Hawks started strong but could not hold on dropping a 7-3 decision to the Uxbridge Stars. Quinte West goals were scored by Bogart, Jones and Wiersma with assists going to Jakob Harnest(2), Boates and Lesser.
The Hawks are back in action this weekend as they travel to Uxbridge on Saturday for another shot at the Stars and then host Claringotn in Trenton on Sunday at 12:30pm
