Hawks Continue Strong Play
The Klemencic Homes Atom 'A' Hawks won 2 more games this weekend.
On Saturday the Hawks hosted the Whitby Wildcats (white) and picked up where they has left off the previous week with a solid 7-1 win. Michael Dolton lead the offence with a hat trick and also picked up an assist. Other markers came from Jack Lowry, Daniel McLeod, Jakob Gardner and Eamonn Deery. Assists went to McLeod(2), Geoffrey Boates, Gardner, Mac Slone and Lowry. Seamus Killeen was solid in the net picking up the win.
On Sunday the Hawks travelled to Lindsay and came out of the gates slow but picked up the pace as the game went on and skated to an 8-2 victory. Jack Lowry had a huge game picking up 5 goals and 2 assists. Also scoring for the Hawks were Gardner, Justin Bolduc and McLeod. Picking up additional assists were Ryan Kirk, Deery, Slone and Tyvian Koets.
The Hawks have a quiet weekend coming up with only one game. The travel to Uxbridge to take on the second place Stars on Sunday.
