Hawks Soar into First Place
The Klemencic Homes Atom A Hawks used 3 overpowering performances to soar into first place in the Lakeshore League.
On Thursday The Hawks offence was unstoppable in a 16-3 win over the Kingston Canadiens. The goals came from Daniel McLeod(4), Jack Lowry(3), Justin Bolduc(3), Michael Dolton(2), Shane Jerrett, Mac Slone, Ben Davy and Jakob Gardner. Picking up assists were Geoffrey Boates(4), Davy(3), Tyvian Koets(2), McLeod(2), Eamonn Deery(2), Ryan Kirk(2), Lowry, Dolton, Bolduc, Slone and Gardner. Logan Vale got the win in net.
On Saturday the Hawks played a solid all around game and beat the Port Perry Predators 6-0. Quinte West goals were scored by Lowry(2), Jerrett, Boates, Kirk and Gardner with assists going to Koets(2), McLeod(2), Lowry, Dolton, Keenan Wiles, Jerrett, Davy and Gardner. Seamus Killeen picked up the shutout.
The Hawks continued to roll on Sunday and the offence was once again in high gear as they trounced the Ajax Knights 12-0. Scoring for the Hawks were Dolton(3), Gardner(3), Lowry(2), McLeod(2), Bolduc and Boates. Picking up assists were Wiles(3), Lowry, Bolduc, Jerrett, Boates, Slone, Deery, Kirk, Davy and Gardner. Logan Vale got the shutout in net.
The Hawks are back in action this weekend when they host the Whitby Wildcats(white) on Saturday and then travel to Lindsay to face the Muskies on Sunday.
