2022 QWMHA Snowball Tournament
Tournament Information:
Each team is guaranteed three (3) games.
All Games are 3/10-minute periods - stop time periods
All games to be played at City of Quinte West Arenas (Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena/Dr McMullen arena)
Entry fees –Registration Fee/team U11 and above- $800 CDN Funds; U9 $450 – No gate fees will be charged.
10% deposit due within 10 days of registration to reserve a spot. Remaining balance due by Mar 4th, 2022. Approved Roster and Travel Permits due no later than March 9th, 2022.
Tournament Division Dates:
March 14 & 15, 2022 - U15 & U11 divisions (sanction #10428) - cancelled
March 16, 2022 - U9 division (sanction #10541)
March 17 & 18, 2022 - U13 divisions (sanction #10430)
All players will receive a participant gift.

Refund Policy- Non Covid related reasons
Deposit fee is nonrefundable.
If a team withdraws within 21 days of start of tournament there will be no refund.
Tournament Refund Policy COVID related:
If Quinte West Minor Hockey Association is required to cancel the tournament due to COVID-19 and/or subsequent restrictions, a full refund will be issued to all teams registered to play. The decision to cancel a tournament will be based on directions from local public health officials.
If a team must withdraw from a tournament due to a member or members of the team being exposed to COVID-19, and the quarantine period cannot be safely completed before the tournament, the team will be issued a full refund.
A team withdrawing due to COVID-19 related reasons will be required to provide a letter from their governing body stating their exposure has been documented.
Refunds will be processed within two weeks of the cancellation of the event.
Governing Rules:
Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) sanctioned rules shall be in effect, except where these tournament rules apply, including the use of OMHA sanctioned equipment, except where branch association rules may be different in any division.
Body checking is NOT permissible in any division.
