The Atom Nomad Hawks would earn three points this weekend in Lakeshore hockey league action.

The Whitby White Wildcats gave the Atom Nomad Hawks a run for their money on Saturday.  The Wildcats would open the scoring in the first and the Hawks would eventually get on the scoreboard in the second.  The teams would battle back and forth and end the second tied with three goals a piece.  Wildcats would once again take the lead then the Hawks would tie it up with just a little over three minutes left in the third.  Mason Taylor would make some impressive saves during the game that ended in a 4 to 4 tie.  Joey Nieman lead the offense with 2 goals, followed by Malcolm Brooks and Hunter Bradbury.  Helpers from Andrew Gilson, Nieman, Kale Tawse (2) and Brooks (2)
On Sunday, the Hawks would face the North Durham Warriors.  The Hawks would be slow on the start but would surely make up for it in the final 3 minutes of the third.  North Durham started off the scoring and held the upper hand in the game a few times to keep the Hawks on their toes.  The Hawks would take control in the third to win with a score of 6 to 4.  Scoring for the Hawks were Gilson, Logan Fonger, Brooks, Bradbury, Hayden Parent and Tawse.  Assists from Fonger, Brooks and Malachi Hoornweg (2).  Owen Curren with the win in net.
