On
Saturday October 20th, the Hawks were at home playing the North
Durham Warriors. The Hawks and Warriors battled back and forth down the ice to
end the first with no score. Justin Bolduc opened the scoring for the Hawks assisted
by Shane Jerrett. Later on in the second, Geoffrey Boates popped one in
unassisted. Early in the third, Jakob Gardner was set up beautifully by Ryan
Kirk to make the Hawks final mark. The Warriors did not let that stand and they
found the net while the Hawks were shorthanded to make their mark on the board
late in the third for a final score 3-1. Logan Vale with the win.

The Hawks have a busy couple weekends ahead of them, they are off to Lake Placid, NY on October 25th – 28th for the Can-Am Tournament. Then they will be playing in the Shriners Tournament in Belleville the weekend of Nov. 2-4th. They will be back to regular season games on home ice on Nov. 10th playing the Northumberland Nighthawks at 2:30pm.
