Hawks Lose Game One to Peterborough
The 413 Wing Peewee AE Hawks opened up their best of 5 series with Peterborough on the road this weekend.
The Petes potent offence went to work early and had a 5-0 lead by mid game. The Hawks finally responded late in the second with a goal from Gabe Miller assisted by Quinton Bogart and Felix Paradis. Bogart and Paradis would each add a goal in the third to cut the lead to 7-3. The Petes would add one more in the third to win 8-3. Cooper Martin was solid in net for the Hawks facing 36 shots.
The Hawks resume their series this weekend with a Saturday home game at the Dunc and back to Peterborough on Sunday.
