Hawks Swept From OMHA Playoffs
The 413 Wing Peewee AE Hawks were swept by the Peterborough Petes in the first round of the OMHA playoffs.

The Hawks were competitive in game two on home ice dropping a 6-2 decision to the visiting Petes. The visitors would get the only goal of the first period. Early in the second Bryce Mitchell went end to end to beat the Pete's netminder to make it a 2-1 game. After two periods of play the score was 4-1. Early in the third, the Hawks cut the lead in half with Jakob Briscoe scoring from Felix Paradis and Spencer Power.  The Petes would score two more late in the third to put the game away.  Cooper Martin was solid in net in the loss.

On Sunday, the Hawks travelled to Peterborough for game three.  Similar to game two, the Petes held a 1-0 lead after one period of play.  After two periods of play the game was still close at 3-0. The Hawks would fight back to within two of the Petes, with a goal from Briscoe with assists to Brock Kritzer and Quinton Bogart.  The Petes would add two more goals before the Hawks answered on the power play to make it 5-2. Owen Ferguson would pick up the powerplay marker, with assists to Bogart and Briscoe. In the end special teams proved costly, as the Hawks gave up three powerplay goals and the final score was 7-2.  Reese Deline played well in the loss.
