Wednesday night, Marinovich Dental ran into
some tough competition when they faced off against motivated Wahoo's Sports Bar and Grill.
From the opening face-off, Wahoo came out strong, forcing Marinovich back onto their heels and into some early penalty trouble.
They secured an early first period lead, pacing themselves to a 4-0 lead.
Carson Dunk opened the scoring, while Nelson Williams potted 2 and singles coming from, Keegan Thompson, Tyler Whitmore, Kayden Jarvis and Lucas Harbour .
Marinovich answered the bell in the second with some sustained push back pressure keeping Wahoo hemmed in their own zone, however strong play from Goaltender Eric McKeown held Marinovich off the score sheet.
Kaleb Sargenson finally found the back of the net for Marinovich with a heavy wrist shot breaking McKeown's bid for a shutout.
This Saturday, Marinovich will host John's Equipment, while Wahoo will host Reads Accounting.
