Hawks Cap off a Great Season, News, PeeWee A, 2015-2016 (Quinte West Minor Hockey Association)

The Scaletta Group Peewee Hawks finished their season on a winning note at the Pickering Spring Thaw Tournament.

The boys went undefeated in the round robin at the Pickering Spring Thaw Tournament with wins over Richmond Hill (6-1), Newmarket Redmen (6-1), Glanbrook Rangers (8-3) and Clarington Toros (9-2).  They met up again with the Glanbrook Rangers posting the same result as they did in the round robin (8-3).  In the Final, it was a rematch with the Newmarket Redmen.  The Hawks jumped out to an early 4-0 win, eventually prevailing 6-2.  With the win, the Hawks finished their season 52-14-5 , and captured four tournament Championships.  It was a great ending to a great season!
