Game 9
The Hawks meet Uxbridge for the first time at the The Dunc. A good example of The Hawks
working the systems Coach Kevin, Pat and Steve have been developing with the anticipation of
a strong year. So lets look at the results of a team working the systems with success. Goal
scorers and helpers started with team captain Josh Hogan who tallied for 2 goals. Mason Hum
found the back of the net two times from the point. Mike Chambers found mesh for 2. Cameron
Hagerman he scores!!! Andrew White for a single tally and our good buddy Woody from the
Point also registered 2 goals. These goals don’t happen without hard fought battles and gaining
that extra ice surface that allows puck to the net.
The assists come from Kurtis Wood,Jake Love, Andrew White, Mike Chambers, Dawson Whyte and Cameron Hale -Sanders. Sam“ the King” Brett didn’t see much action yet remained consistent in play to prevent any golden opportunities Uxbridge may have had.
A 10-1 win - 2 points - - with another 3 wins Your Hawks continue to keep a 3 point lead in the Lakeshore Midget League.
