U11 Selects off to great start, News, U11 RS, 2022-2023, SEL (Quinte West Minor Hockey Association)

Your Quinte West U11 Selects are off to a great start to their season. The team had a solid outing in Whitby, picking up a 7-5 win in their first game of the year. The following weekend (Nov 25th-27th) saw the team travel to Kingston to take on the Canadians for Hockey Fights Cancer. The stands were filled with fans who witnessed a back and forth game between the two teams, with our Golden Hawks coming out on top 4-2. Sunday, these Golden Hawks welcomed the Northumberland Nighthawks to the Dunc for a battle of the birds. Down by a goal late in the third, the team scored on a power play to tie it up. The game ended 3-3, in front of a packed house. It was a great game, and something the kids will remember for a long time. We have a break in the action, with our next game being on December 11th. The Golden Hawks take on Kingston at home.
