Congratulations to the U13 Quinte West Select Team who were crowned A Champions in the Lefroy February Breeze tournament!
The Quinte West Golden Hawks U13 Select Team participated
in the Lefroy Ice Breaker Tournament this weekend in Barrie.
The team was excited and looking forward to playing
their first game verses Woolwich Wildcats on Friday. Hawks goalie #29 Lord stood
strong and proud in net earning a shutout. Hawks take the 'W' in their first
game of the tournament. Final score 7-0.

With a short break the Hawks headed out to their
2nd game of the day verses The Brantford Saints. Hawks goalie #1 Furlotte was
tested by the Saints but he remained cool under pressure. Hawks take game 2
with a 4-3 final score.

On Saturday afternoon the Hawks headed out to meet
the Russel Warriors for game 3. Goalie #29 Lord finds another shutout. Hawks
rock it and grab up another win. Final score 6-0 for game 3. The Quinte West
Golden Hawks U13 Select Team will advance to the finals on Sunday.

The QW Hawks will meet Brantford Saints again, this
time for the Championship game.
Hawks goalie #29 Lord gets into position and looks
ready. The teamwork is on point and they keep the Saints out of our end. The
crowd is wild, the Hawks want this win. The passing is smooth, each play made
by the Hawks is fast and smart. They do it! Hawks go undefeated, they pick up
another win and the A Championship with a final score of 6-0.
