413 Wing Golden Hawks bring home 3 Points
Our U10 Quinte West Golden hawks hit the road this weekend and earned themselves 3 points!

First up our Golden Hawks traveled to Uxbridge on Saturday to take on the North Durham Warriors. It was a back and forth first period with both goalies making stellar saves, but Colby MacDonald was able to find the back of the net to give the Hawks the lead. Quinte West's lead was short lived as North Durham was quick to respond adding a goal of their own to end the first period 1-1. Our Hawks came out flying as the second period began with quick goals by MacDonald and Kaden Van Gemeren. Cullen Bovine found himself with a goal from the blue line, Mighty Max Taylor earned himself a goal and Colby MacDonald found the back of the net 3 more times to end the second period. As the third period began our Hawks didn't let up with Kye Ralph and Lucas Scriver earning themselves a goal followed by Wade Rodinson and Kaden Van Gemeren to end the game. Alexander Brant was in net for the 12-1 win. Assists went to Connor Rice, Blake Gregory (3), Cullen Bovine, Holt Poirier, Kye Ralph, Colby MacDonald (3), Spencer Tamlin, and Wade Robinson.

On Sunday our Quinte West Golden Hawks hit the road again to take on Whitby Wildcats White. It was an intense back and forth game with both teams giving it all they had. Blake Gregory dug deep giving Quinte West the lead followed by Max Taylor adding a goal of his own to end the first period. Second period began with Whitby turning it up a notch with a goal of their own, but our Captain Wade Robinson was quick to respond with a goal for Quinte West. Both goalies battled hard and shut down their opponents for the remainder of the period. Third period began with Robinson adding another goal, but Whitby quickly put on the pressure and responded with a pair of goals. As the third came to its final minutes, Quinte West found themselves in the penalty box, Whitby took advantage by pulling their goalie to give themselves the extra attackers and it paid off as they were able to tie the game 4-4 to end the period. Brent Conrod was solid between the pipes for the Hawks. Assists by Max Taylor (2), Blake Gregory and Lucas Scriver.

Next up our U10 Golden Hawks take on the undefeated Whitby Wildcats Blue on home ice, Saturday, November 19th at 3:30pm. Come on out and cheer on our Golden Hawks!
