More Overtime Magic in Game 2
Coming off an overtime win the night before the Trenton Sportsfield Co-op U14 Golden Hawks dug deep and and beat the Kingston Canadiens in 2-1 in overtime again on Thursday.

After a scoreless first period the Golden Hawks grabbed the lead late in the second on a goal from Tyson Gregory. Assists went to Gavin Armstrong and Owen Vis. The lead did not last long as Kingston came back to tie the game just 26 seconds later. After a back and forth third period and some strong goaltending from both teams this one would once again head to overtime tied 1-1. With their legs getting tired, the boys from Quinte West relied on some big saves in OT from Reese Deline before capitalizing on an opportunity with just 54 seconds remaining when Brendan Reid jumped on a loose puck from behind the net and buried the winner. Armstrong and Tyson Gregory picked up the assists. Deline made many key saves all night and picked up the win in net.

The Golden Hawks are back in action in Peterborough on Saturday evening at 8:00pm where they will try to punch their ticket to the OMHA finals tournament with a victory against the Petes.
