U14 Golden Hawks Down Unbeaten Toros
The Trenton Sportsfield Co-op U14 Golden Hawks continued their hot streak by downing the previously unbeaten Clarington Toros 2-0 for their fifth straight win and third shutout in a row.
Looking to avenge their only loss of the season the Hawks battle one of their main rivals in the Lakeshore league. After a scoreless first period Connor Boates scored mid way through the second on a perfect pass from Brendan Reid on a 2 on 1. Jake Harnest also assisted on the goal. Connor Kokonas sealed the win with a goal from the point with just under nine minutes remaining in the game. Reese Deline closed the door between the pipes picking up the teams third straight shutout.
