Hawks End Season With Strongest Performance
The 413 Wing Peewee AE Hawks Lakeshore playoff round robin went down to the wire this past weekend. The Hawks started the weekend with 1 point but managed to create a 3-way tie by the end of the round robin.

On Saturday the Hawks hosted Ajax in their third game of the round robin. After a scoreless first period, Gabe Miller got the Hawks on the board just one minute into the second period, with assists going to Jacob Briscoe and Quinton Bogart. Ajax would tie the game up three mintues later ending the second period deadlocked at 1-1.  Bogart would put the Hawks back in the lead, with assists to Miller and Owen Hills. Late in the third the Hawks would get into penalty trouble, allowing the Knights to capitalize on a 5 on 3.  Cooper Martin would close the door in the final three minutes to earn the 2-2 tie and the much needed one point.

Sunday was a must win for the Hawks to have a chance at moving on to the next round.  The Oshawa Generals would visit the Dunc for what would be the Hawks most exciting game of the year.  The Hawks would open the scoring early in the first with a power play goal from Miller and assists going to Briscoe and Bryce Mitchell. The Generals would score 2 goals in the second period taking a 2-1 lead into the final frame.  Thirty seconds into the period the power play would strike again for the Hawks. Own Ferguson would tip in a point shot from Mitchell. Briscoe would get a secondary assist on the goal. Ferguson would bury another goal midway through the third to take a 3-2 lead, with assist going to Ethan Fellows and Bogart.  Fellows would put the game out of reach with a shot from the point with the lone assist to Brodie Marcucci.  Marten was solid in net for the victory.

The win would force a 3 way tie, with each team having a record of 1-1-2 for four points. Tie break rules would determine Ajax would move on to the next round. The Hawks would like to thank all the family and friends who came out to support the team this year.
