Hawks Split Weekend
The 413 Wing Peewee AE Hawks had a win and loss this past weekend to break their 4 game losing streak.

On Saturday the Hawks traveled to Pickering to take on the Panthers. Quinton Bogart got the Hawks on the board late in the first, to tie it at 1-1,  with assists going to Jacob Briscoe and Spencer Power. Gabe Miller gave the Hawks the lead in the second with the lone assist going to Owen Ferguson. The Panthers would tie the game up before heading into the third period. The Hawks broke the game open with the next two goals supplied by Bryce Mitchell (2). Assist went to Briscoe (2), Bogart, and Ferguson(2). Reese Deline was great in net shutting the door in the third to earn the 4-3 win.

The Hawks would visit the Whitby White Wildcats on Sunday. After falling behind 2-0 early in the first period, Felix Paradis cut the lead to one by burying a nice feed from Miller.  Paradis would add his second of the game early in the second period to tie the game at 2-2. The Hawks would take the lead in the second on a great individual effort by Bogart to make it 3-2. Unable to hold onto the lead, the Wildcats would score the next two goals and add an empty net to finish off the Hawks.  Cooper Martin was solid in goal for the 6-3 loss.

The Hawks will be hosting the league leading Whitby Blue Wildcats in their lone game this weekend.
