Hawks Drop Two On Weekend
The 413 Wing Peewee AE Hawks suffered two losses this past weekend. On Saturday they hosted the North Durham Warriors where they fell 4-1. Scoring the lone goal for the Hawks was Owen Ferguson, with assists going to Chase Gould and Gabe Miller. Reese Deline was solid in net, stopping 20 of 24 shots.
Sunday the Hawks were on the road to take on the league leading Whitby Blue Wildcats. Playing a scoreless first period, Whitby scored early in the second to take the lead and held on to win 1-0. Cooper Martin was exceptional in net stopping 35 of 36 shots.
The 413 Wing Peewee Hawks have one home game this weekend at 3:45pm at the Duncan McDonald. They will take on the Whitby Blue Wildcats in a rematch of Sundays game.
