The Quinte West Image Landscape Peewee Hawks are back on track and played another busy week of hockey. The boys started the week with a Wednesday evening game as they hosted Kingston. This was a one sided affair throughout and Sunny Fanjoy(Coe, Davy) would get the Hawks started in the first period. The floodgates would open in the second with four more goals added to the scoresheet by Brock Davy, Charlie Mooney(Davy), Avery Wease(Andrews), and Fanjoy(Webby). Carson Down played another solid game for the Hawks and only allowed one to slip past him, leading the boys to a 5-1 beatdown.

The first of two weekend games would have the Hawks travel to Oshawa for their third and final matchup of the regular season. This game was another offensive onslaught and Oshawa was unable to solve the chemistry of QW. Weasy would start the scoring in the first and he would add another early in the second (Andrews). Fanjoy(Coe, Webb) would add to the lead to put the Hawks in a comfortable 3-0 position leading into the final frame. Keegan Carr would add to the carnage in the third followed by one more from Fanjoy(Webby). Dryden Riley would make some routine saves to add another shutout to his season and secure the 5-0 victory.

The Hawks were back home on Sunday to host Pickering in what would prove to be a nightmare for the Panthers. A relatively quiet start saw a lone goal from Davy(Weasy, Carr) in the first. The offensive juggernaut would completely take over in the second with two goals from Weasy(Carr, Andrews) (Mooney, Fanjoy), and singles from Cole Baird(Mooney, Webb) and Colby Coe(Fanjoy). The carnage continued throughout the third with additional goals scored by Mooney(Bairdo, Webb), Webby(Coe), Andrews(Slone), Webby, and one more from Andrews(Coe) to finish things off. Carson Down played a strong game between the pipes and helped lead the Hawks to a 10-2 victory over Pickering. Next game will have the Hawks back home to face Clarington on Sunday.
