Hawks Pick Up 3 of 4 Points
The World Elite Training Minor Peewee Hawks had a tie and a win this weekend to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games.

On Saturday the Hawks traveled to Uxbridge to play a hard working North Durham Warriors team and came away with a 3-3 tie. Scoring for the home side were Aiden Haker, Tyson Gregory and Cael Hussey. Assists went to Colby Wiersma, Haker, Noah Marsh, Jakob Harnest and Stirling Poff. Nowl Wallace got the start in net.

On Sunday the Hawks were on the road once again as they took on the Clarington Toros. The game was a back and forth affair with neither team able to break the deadlock through two periods. In the third Brendan Reid scored the lone goal with assists going to Connor Boates and Matt Hicks and the Hawks won 1-0. Noah Groeneveld was solid in net picking up his first shutout of the season.

The Hawks are back in action this weekend with a home and home against the Peterborough Petes. Game one is in Quinte West on Saturday at 2:15pm and then they travel to Peterborough on Sunday.
