Win Streak Hits Six
The World Elite Training Minor Peewee Hawks have now won six straight games after two more wins this weekend.

On Friday the Hawks traveled to Pickering and dominated the Panthers in a 9-2 win. Brendan Reid paced the attack scoring five goals. Cael Hussey scored two while singles went to Sterling Poff and Eli Kenney. Picking up assists were Connor Boates(3), Hussey(2), Kenney(2), Matt Hicks(2), Tyson Gregory, Jakob Harnest, Gavin Armstrong, Poff, Owen Vis, Colby Wiersma and Noah Marsh. Nowl Wallace picked up the win in net.

On Saturday the Hawks played host to the North Durham Warriors. After letting a 3-1 lead slip away in the third period the home side recovered to secure the 4-3 win and keep their streak alive. Finding the net for the Hawks were Hussey, Boates, Wiersma and Harnest while assists went to Reid, Hicks and Connor Kokonas. Noah Groeneveld was solid in net and got the win.

Regular season action resumes this coming weekend as the Hawks hit the road for games in North Durham on Saturday and Clarington on Sunday.
