Stellar Performance in Jim Wilson Classic
The Atom Nomad Hawks had a stellar performance at the Jim Wilson Classic tournament.

Game one had the Hawks playing against the Ottawa Sting where the Hawks would come out on top with a 4 to 2 win  Rhet Sharp would start off the scoring 40 secs into the game followed by Hayden Parent, Joe Nieman and Hunter Bradbury.  Assists from Logan Fonger, Rhys Lawrence, Kale Tawse and Malcolm Brooks (2).  Mason Taylor with the win in net.
Saturdays game had the Hawks facing a fierce Glancaster Bombers team.  This game was end to end action leading to a shootout where ultimately the Hawks would claim victory with a 4 to 2 win.  Rhet Sharp and Lane Sharp would lead the offense and eventually both find the back of the net during the shootout.  Helpers from Lawrence and Malachi Hoornweg.  Owen Curran would remain calm and steady during the shootout denying the Bombers shooters and sealing the win for the Hawks.
The next game the team would face their first tough loss of the tournament in a tight 2 to 1 game against Collingwood Blackhawks.  Bradbury would supply the lone goal from the team which was assisted by Sullivan Tait and Fonger.  Mason Taylor made several key saves in net.
Sunday morning semi finals, the team would display a hard fought battle against the Oro Thunder which would once again see the team forcing a game deciding shootout.  The game was filled with edge of your seat entertainment as both teams came to play.  Unfortunately the team didn't get the outcome they had hoped, but it was not for lack of effort.  Leading the offense was Lane Sharp with two goals.  Brooks and Rhet Sharp would add to the tallies.  Assists from Rhet, Parent, Bradbury and Nieman.  Owen Curran was steadfast between the pipes.
This weekend the team will travel to Whitby to face Whitby White on Saturday.  On Sunday at 12:30 the team will take on North Durham at the Duncan McDonald.
