Hawks Update for Nov. 29, Dec. 1

The Madison Excavating Minor Bantam Hawks spit their home games this week with a win on Thursday night against the Peterborough Petes 5-0 and a loss to the Northumberland Nighthawks on Saturday afternoon 2-1.

On Thursday, the Hawks started the first period of with a quick goal by Lukas Scaletta helped out by Trey Cocek. The Hawks later entered the second with a goal by Vince Bellavance assisted by Nathan Shuttleworth. In the third the Hawks found the net repeatedly by scoring 3. Daniel McLeod-Lockwood started off the period, then Ryan Kirk found the net with a little help from Tyvian Koets and Bellavance. McLeod-Lockwood finished of the game with another goal. Logan Vale with the win in net.


On Saturday the Hawks met the Northumberland Nighthawks again and this time the scoring was not on our side. The Nighthawks started off in the third and scored a second one not long after. The Hawks continued to put the pressure on the net and Ryan Kirk found the net helped by Tyvian Koets. The Hawks continued to fight but were not able to find the back of the net.


The Hawks will be at home for a three game stretch beginning on Thursday night against the Kingston Canadians at 8pm, Saturday at 2:30 against Pickering Panthers and Sunday at 2:45 against the Ajax Knights.
