#gameday Nov. 10 -- Hawks vs Nighthawks
On
Saturday the Madison Excavating Minor Bantam A Hawks hosted the Northumberland
Nighthawks and dominated the game with a 9-0 win. During the first period, the
pucks few into the net one after another putting the Hawks ahead by 5. It all
started early, within 18sec Jakob Gardner popped one in assisted by Ethan
Osborne. Not long after that, Daniel McLeod-Lockwood found the net assisted by
Vince Bellavance. Osborne found the net assisted by Garder and Geoffrey Boates.
Mac Slone found the net, assisted by Ryan Kirk To finish off the period Layne Cocek found
the back of the net assisted by McLeod-Lockwood.
With the rest of the game to play, Bellavance started the second off with a great goal, only to turn around and score again assisted by Osborne and Jack Mason. McLeod-Lockwood found the net assisted by Osborne and Bellavance to end the period. To finish off the third period the Nighthawks remained scoreless and the Hawks found the net one last time by McLeod-Lockwood to gain a hattrick. Seamus Killeen with the win in net.
The Hawks have a busy week ahead of them as they return to the ice Friday Nov.16 to play the Kingston Canadians at the Invista Centre. They will host Ajax on Saturday at home at 2:30 at the Duncan Memorial and Sunday they will visit the Clarington Toros in Darlington.
