October 13th Update
At home on Saturday October 13th, the Hawks hosted the Clarington
Toros. The Hawks started strong with a goal from Vince Bellavance 40
seconds off the faceoff assisted by Jakob Gardner. Late in the first Daniel
McLeod-Lockwood found the back of the net assisted by Ethan Osborne. Late in
the first, the Toros scorded trying to shorten the lead. In the second period
Gardner was hot on his stick and hit the net assisted by Nathan Shuttleworth.
Mid way through the third, Gardner found the back of the net again. The Toros
then scored again. In the last 35 seconds, Osborne
found the empty net assisted by Ryan Kirk. Seamus Killeen with the win in net.
The Hawks hosted another 50/50 draw on Saturday, supporting The
Children’s Foundation as October is Child Abuse Prevention Month.
