Hawks Open Playoffs With Win vs. Toros
The Rhino Hockey Training Atom Hawks opened the first round of the OMHA playoffs on Saturday with a 4-2 win over the Clarington Toros.

The offence got going early when Brendan Reid scored just 7 seconds into the game. Quinton Bogart scored 2 minutes later for an early 2-0 lead. In the second period Connor Boates scored on the powerplay and Reid picked up his second of the game to give the Hawks a 4-1 lead heading to the third period. Cooper Martin stood tall in net the whole game and the Hawks walked away with the 4-2 win. Assist went to Gavin Armstrong, Matt Hicks and Connor Kokonas.

The round robin series continues for the Hawks on Tuesday when they face the Northumberland Nighthawks at 6:00pm in Trenton before traveling to Clarington on Saturday. The series wraps up the following Tuesday when the Hawks travel to Baltimore to play the Nighthawks.
